These terms apply when you order from Boffocakes through our website, WhatsApp or phone.

1. Who we are

Boffocakes is Boffo Cakes, a proprietorship of Sayona Gupta, CG-244, Salt Lake Sector II, Kolkata 700091, West Bengal. FSSAI Reg. No. 22826136001001 · GSTIN 19BLUPG1053K1ZQ. Contact: +91 90519 18008 · boffocakes.official@gmail.com.

2. Orders

• An order is confirmed once we have accepted it and the payment required for it has been received.
• For custom cakes, we send you a price first. The order is confirmed only after you accept the price and pay.
• Please check names, messages, dates, addresses and phone numbers carefully. We make the cake exactly as you give them to us.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Indian Rupees and are shown when you order. The delivery fee depends on your area.
• You can pay in full, pay an advance, or (where offered) pay on delivery, as shown when you order. Cash on delivery is offered only for orders up to ₹3,000. Same-day orders must be paid in full online when you order. We may ask new customers to pay in full before we confirm an order.
• Online payments are handled by our payment partner or directly by UPI. We never see or store your card or bank details.

4. Designs and changes

• Menu cakes are made as shown. You can personalise them when ordering, but the design can't be changed.
• Custom cake designs can be changed up to 48 hours before delivery.
• We send you a photo of your cake before delivery. Changes should be requested then; after the cake is ready, only minor changes are possible.
• Handmade cakes follow the design or reference photo closely but are not an exact copy.

5. Ingredients and allergies

• All our cakes are eggless. Brownies and fruit cakes may contain egg.
• Our products may contain or come into contact with dairy, gluten (wheat) and nuts. Please tell us about any allergy when ordering; we can't guarantee an allergen-free kitchen.
• We use food-grade colours only.
• Figurines, toppers, sticks, wires and some decorations are not edible. Please remove them before serving.
• Everything we sell is made in India, in our Kolkata kitchen.

6. Delivery

We deliver within Kolkata in the time slot you choose. See our Delivery page. If neither the recipient nor the person who placed the order can be reached, and we haven't heard from the person who placed the order, the cake can't be delivered and no refund is given.

8. Photos of your cake

We photograph cakes we make and may share them on our website and social media. A name or message written on the cake may sometimes be visible. We never share photos of people (such as photo-print cakes) or anything that identifies someone without consent. If you'd prefer we don't share your cake at all, just tell us.

9. Messages from us

When you place an order, we contact you on WhatsApp, SMS or phone about that order. Offers, new designs and celebration reminders are sent only if you've agreed to receive them, and every such message lets you stop them. See our Privacy Policy.

10. Our responsibility

If something goes wrong with an order because of us, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Complaints (Grievance Officer)

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata have jurisdiction over any dispute.
